How Amuma Properties collects, uses, and protects personal information, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

Who we are
Amuma Properties (“we”, “us”) is a property management business based in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines. For questions about this notice or your personal data, contact amumaproperties@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you submit: name, email, phone or messaging number, property location and type, owner location, and anything you write in the message field.
- Owner and property records for clients: property details, booking and revenue data, expense records and receipts, and correspondence.
- Guest information received through Airbnb and Booking.com, which we process only to deliver the stay.
- Technical data from your visit to this site, such as pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a property assessment.
- To perform our management agreement with you, including bookings, maintenance, and financial reporting.
- To comply with legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
- To improve our services and this website.
Our lawful bases are your consent, the performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests as a business, as recognised under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where necessary: with booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com) to operate your listing; with vetted service providers such as cleaners, maintenance vendors, and accounting or software providers; and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients are retained for [12 months]. Client and financial records are retained for [10 years] to meet Philippine tax and accounting requirements, then securely disposed of.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to object to processing, to erasure or blocking in certain circumstances, to data portability, to damages, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Security
We apply reasonable organisational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal data, including access controls on the owner portal and restricted access to financial records.
